The Story Behind Toadstools Travel
Toadstools Travel was born from a simple belief: the best trips aren't the ones with the fewest people, or the easiest logistics; they're the ones planned by someone who sweats every detail so you don't have to.
I'm Andrea, mom to three sons, wife to my favorite travel partner, and a former pastry chef who traded sheet pans and chef whites for spreadsheets and websites. Although I still believe every good trip deserves a great dessert, and I'll always have a recipe recommendation on hand. Pastry taught me that precision matters; a few grams off and the whole recipe will fail, I bring that same exacting attention to every itinerary I build.
My own family of five has wandered from the waterslides ofWisconsin Dells to the mountains of Puerto Rico, proof that “family trip” can be whatever magic you are seeking.
I also live with Lupus, Celiac disease, ADHD, and Autism, which means I've done the research most families are quietly doing themselves: finding food that's actually safe to eat, itineraries that don't overload the senses, and trips that leave room to rest instead of rushing from one thing to the next. Nothing gets left to chance not the dietary restrictions, not the nap schedule, not the special requests.
I started Toadstools Travel because I know firsthand how hard it is to plan a trip for a big, beautiful, complicated family and how often 'family travel' websites quietly mean small family travel. Not here. Whether you're a family two, five, a blended family of eight, a reunion crew of twenty cousins, or a couple planning your honeymoon, you'll be planned for not squeezed into a template built for someone else.
Toadstools Travel is proudly LGBTQIA+ woman owned and inclusive. However your family is built, you'll find a place at this table.
